In our continuing quest to become “The Google of Loyalty Program Benefits,“ I am happy to announce that we have added American Express credit card benefits to UseMyBenefits.com.
Benefits vary tremendously depending upon the particular type of card that the card holder has. But, even the standard Green Card has extended warranty, purchase protection (theft or damage), return protection, baggage insurance (damaged, stolen or lost Baggage), car rental loss and damage insurance, access to the Global Assist hotline, roadside assistance and travel accident insurance benefits.
As you move up to the Gold Card and beyond, you get more benefits. 4x membership rewards points at US supermarkets and 4x membership rewards points at restaurants worldwide on up to $25,000 per year in purchases (I use the points for purchases on Amazon); a $100 per year airline fee credit for items like baggage fees, in flight food, and refreshments on a designated airline (who knew?); and a $100 credit to use at hotels within The Hotel Collection (Gold Card).
Then there are items like airport lounge access (Platinum Card), and… I could go on and on, but you get the idea.
Hey, you are planning to stay at Caesars Palace for two nights or more. You have an American Express Platinum card in your pocket. Why not get daily breakfast for two, a room upgrade if available, 4 PM late checkout, noon check in when available, and complementary Wi-Fi? You are paying for the benefits, why not use them?
Our mission is to make it easy for you to find and use your benefits, when and where you want. And, we don’t need your credit card number or other confidential information.
Know about other cards or loyalty programs we should have on our site? Please let me know. We want you to be able to Use Your Benefits. Email: rbaker@usemybenefits.com. All the best, RB
